In 1992, the Browns Family of Browns Furniture purchased 84 acres with the intention of developing a subdivision. Yet, development didn't seem to fit the wooded acres with it's rolling hills. Instead, the Browns built their dream home in the center of the property and kept the estate secluded from the public with the signature iron gate on the front entrance.
The Beginning
Years later, when Sothebys Auctions listed the property for sale, the Stice's had intended to view the property for an out-of-state family member. The husband and wife fell in love with the park-like setting and the beautiful home. They instantly knew this property had so much potential.
